Bzzzzzt - wrong answer - a child may be affected by their upbringing
for good or bad, but they come supplied with what nature sent down.
Harry is not good because he was brought up in a tough situation, nor
is Ron good because he was brought up by his kind and gentle parents.
They are good because they are good. Now, if you want to talk about
behavior, maybe Harry delays dealing with things or has very poor
communication skills - now THAT might be directly related to poor
parenting skills.
And besides, the WW is is a tough and nasty place where no one coddles
you, not even your friends - In this situation, is DD really doing
anything outside the ordinary in leaving Harry with the Dursleys?
