Doe Patronus - How can two people have the same Patronus?


Well actually only one has the Patronus - Lily has been dead for 16
years. One could presume that ownership of a particular Patronus dies
when they die. As we are not told if Severus had a previous Patronus
and that Lily was a gifted witch, she may well have developed that
ability before Snape. He may have adopted the doe in her remembrance.
