Alla:
In the past I was so focused on "did not know about Dark mark" thing
that implausibility of the fact that he DID know about DE perfectly
well at the same time did not even register in my mind.
I mean, DUH Alla. And again, had she chose to go with Sirius not
knowing about DE at all ( but yeah, how is that possible if they were
the thing he was fighting as member of the order), but knowing about
them and having no clue about their most recognisable tatoo, which
they were also leaving on the place they raided, eh, NO, sorry JKR
not buying at all.

Alla:
I snipped your explanation about why Crouch Sr. could not be saved
because I am not exactly resisting that thought per se, I am just
saying that while you could be totally right, we will never know for
sure, IMO.
And Snape should be "thanked" for that.

Alla
