My first post at TOC is going to be a glorified "me, too!," which is pathetic I realize, but I have to say I really like this idea, Phil.  It has bugged me to no end that some people seem to think that Harry will have to continue Occlumency in year 6 because nothing has changed, whereas others seem to think there is no reason to believe the mind link is still present, so Occlumency will no longer be necessarry.  I've never quite understood why it's been so "clear" to some posters that the MoM Voldy possession somehow undid everything, made Harry no longer impressionable or malleable by Voldy.

Is it your belief, then, Phil, that the link is *totally* closed at this point, because of the "unsplinching"?  Or is the link still somehow open via the scar, but it won't be as strong or as useful to Voldy?
